Patricia Annette Reed of Frostproof passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at her residence.

She was born September 19, 1941 in Alabama to the late John & Lucille Byrd; she came to Polk County from Alabama 65 years ago. She was retired from Citizen’s Bank and was of the Baptist faith.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Reed, Jr.; a grandson, Jamie Smith; and two sisters, Betty Johnson and Mary Robinson.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Lawrence Reed; daughter, Joan Greene (Dale) of Frostproof; son, Terry Reed (Ronay) of Bradenton; sister, Shirley Childs of Avon Park; brothers; Charles Byrd of Leesburg, Larry Byrd of Frostproof and Neal Byrd of Frostproof; three grandchildren, David Smith, Lauren Reed and Chelsea Reed; three great-grandchildren, Justin Smith, Kilee Hulley and Brantley Hunt.

Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
