Pedro’s Obituary
Pedro Reyes Armenta, 66, of Davenport, FL passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born on July 30, 1953 in Bachiniva, Chihuahua, Mexico. Pedro has been a resident of Davenport, FL for 43 years and spent his entire working life, 30 years plus, in the citrus industry in Florida. He also worked in pool maintenance and houseman work.

It has been said that he had a green thumb and could grow anything. He was known for constantly tinkering with and fixing things around the house. His greatest love and joy was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pedro was loving, giving, kind-hearted and would do anything for anyone just because he enjoyed helping others. His family remembers him as a very hard worker and someone who liked to make people laugh.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Hortencia; and brothers, Eduardo, Ruben and Fernando. Pedro leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Maria R. Armenta, his son, Ricardo Reyes and Wife, Ana of Davenport, FL; daughter, Hortensia Armenta Elliott and Husband, James of Polk City, FL; brothers, Bienvenido, Jose, Ricardo, Jesus and; grandchildren, Arnulfo “Jay” Gomez and Wife, Maria Magana, Guadalupe Gomez, Adrian Armenta, Sophia Armenta and Seth Elliott; and great-grandchildren, Sergio, Javier, Alena, and Julio.

A Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Final resting place will be Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
