PHILIP’S OBITUARY
Philip James Hinkle, 58, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 22, 2020. Philip was born on November 17, 1961 in Vero Beach, FL. His family moved to Haines City, FL in 1971. In 2017, Phil & Janet moved to their home in Celebration, Florida. Philip will be lovingly remembered by his devoted life partner of 37 years and love of his life, his wife Janet Fricke – Hinkle, his children; Amber Lynn Cameron (Dan) of Fort Mill, SC, Ashley Marie Jones (Charlie) of Gainesville, FL and Michael Philip Hinkle (Cynthia) of Winter Garden, FL. Philip was blessed beyond measure with his grandchildren, whom he adored: Jeremiah Daniel Cameron, Hannah Kay Cameron, Jordan Lynn Cameron, Ella Marie Jones and Austin Michael Hinkle.
Philip is survived by his five sisters and one brother: Susie Howard of Vero Beach, FL;  Judy Luke (David)  of Vero Beach, FL;  Donna Hinkle of Haines City, FL; Cynthia Walker (Glenn) of Vero Beach, FL; Thomas Hinkle (Cathy) of Fellsmere, FL and Betty Nobles of Vero Beach, FL. Philip also has many loving brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews left behind.
Philip was preceded in heaven by his Father, Donald William Hinkle; Mother, Rosemary Gloria Hinkle; and his beloved first born grandson and namesake, Elijah James Cameron. We know there was a joyous reunion and celebration when they were joined together in Heaven.
At the time of his passing, Philip was the Executive Director of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association where he was employed for 34 years. Philip was a visionary, leader, and mentor, who so many admired. Philip has touched and inspired so many lives and has received many awards for his accomplishments and achievements but everyone would agree Phil”s greatest achievements was his Love for the Lord and passion for his wife and family. Philip was a friend to all, a stranger to none, and was larger than life.
Services for Philip James Hinkle will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020  at Northridge Church of Haines City: 2250 SR 17 South, Haines City, Florida 33844. Viewing for the public will be held at 10:00 am and services to follow at 11:00 am.
