Robert Donald “Bob” Biggs of Auburndale, FL passed away Monday, March 1, 2021. He was 87. A native of Derby, CT, born October 7, 1933 to Percy and Freda Biggs, Bob moved here 60 years ago. He was a retired Supervisor for Lockheed Martin (Formerly known as Martin Marietta). Bob was a US Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War. During his free time, he was a Judge at Sun N Fun for the Warbirds; was a member of the American Legion Post #8, Winter Haven; the Italian American club, the Pilots Association; and he was an avid woodworker. He spent every Sunday evening at Carrabba’s eating his favorite meal and drinking wine.Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Gloria. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia Ann Biggs; his son Donald Biggs (Daphne); his daughter Debra Biggs Harrison; his grandchildren: Michael Harrison, Ashton Biggs, Mallorie Harrison, Brandon Biggs, and Hunter Biggs; and his great-grandchildren: Ayden Biggs, Tytus Jacobs, Sunny Harrison, and Amari Biggs.
A gathering of friends will be Friday, March 5, 2021 from 10-11AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Sun N’ Fun.
