Robert “Bob” Sheppard, age 82, of Lake Wales passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his home. Bob was born on September 5, 1933 in New Castle, IN to the late Charles E. and Gladys A. Sheppard. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Miami in 1951. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles W. Sheppard and Carol E. Sheppard; and a sister, Joy L. Sheppard. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Judith Sheppard; sons, David C. Sheppard (Wendy) of Winter Haven and Robert E. Sheppard of Miami; daughter, Mary Hart (Mark) of Clearwater; brother, James T. Sheppard, Sr. of Fort Meyers; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Memorial Gardens.
