J.L. Glenn of Haines City, Florida passed away on December 15, 2018. He was 76.
J.L. was born on June 19, 1942 in Dale County, Alabama and moved to Haines City with his family in 1950. He was of the Baptist faith and was a tile setter by trade, being remembered as a true artist and always willing to help out a friend. Outside of work, J.L. was an avid outdoorsman, with a love for bird dog hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his father, Walter J. Glenn and he is survived by his mother, Ruth Glenn and sons, James Lee Glenn of Tallahassee, Florida and Anthony Glenn of Zephyrhills, Florida and granddaughter, Alexandria Victoria Glenn. A visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 2:00 pm until the funeral at 3:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with Reverend Larry Hauser officiating. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
