Beatrice P. “Bea” Castilleja of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital.

She was born June 3, 1943 in Jourdanton, Texas to the late Ysidro and Petra Pacheco; she moved to Lake Wales from Michigan in 1980. Bea was a retired supervisor for Fresh Juice Citrus Co. and was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, and being with her family.

Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Max Castilleja; daughter, Cynthia Castilleja; sisters, Angelita Ascencio, and Celia Pacheco; and grandchildren, Marina Castilleja, and Michael Newbern. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Schreiber of Winter Haven, and Sally Castilleja of Lake Wales; sons, Max Castilleja of Auburndale, and Felix Castilleja and wife Ebby of Lake Wales; sisters, Olivia Pacheco of Flint, Michigan, Jenoveva Perez of Lapeer, Michigan, Lenora Molina of Flint, Michigan, and Margarita Martinez of Flint, Michigan; brothers, Vincent Pacheco of Flint, Michigan, and Leo Pacheco of Flint, Michigan; 14 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Cemetery.
