CHARLES’ OBITUARY
Charles H. Harrison, 75, of Haines City passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born April 25, 1945 in Kingsport, TN to Henry and Lelia Rhoton-Harrison. Charles moved to Haines City 65 years ago from Speers Ferry, VA, he had worked as a truck driver all his life until he retired in 2007 and he was a member of the Church of Christ Church in Haines City, FL.

He was an avid outdoors man, who enjoyed fishing, and yard work. Charles loved his family, playing with his grandchildren, and his truck. He truly was a family man and always took care of them, his family says that he was a home body and you could always find him working on cars. Charles is remembered as a fun loving guy who enjoyed making others laugh.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David Rhoton; and sister, Glenda Bosley. He is survived by son, Daryl H. Harrison and wife, Jennifer of Haines City, FL; brother, Gene Harrison of TN; sisters, Iva Elam, Betty Rhoton, Sandra Wilson, and Venus Bailey all of Haines City, FL; sister in law, Gloria Rhoton; grandchildren, Jenna, Courtney, Shelby and Clayton Harrison; and as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL
