Christina Maria Gomez was born on August 30, 1986 in Bartow, Florida. She attended school in the Auburndale area graduating from Auburndale High School. She continued her education at Keiser University graduating with an Associate’s degree in Radiology. Christina has always been a free spirited person who lived her life to the fullest. She was truly the life of the party. She knew how to walk in and light up the room with her beautiful smile and crazy personality. The party didn’t really get started until she got there, which was late most of the time LOL. She was always there to help out no matter the situation nor the person, she truly was one of a kind. Christina LOVED listening to music and going to the beach, and she especially enjoyed watching the sunset.She also wanted to make a difference in others once she found out about her cervical cancer. She wanted to make women more aware of the seriousness of this disease and the benefits of having their annual Pap smears. So go GET CHECKED! Not only did she open so many hearts and mend many relationships through her fight in life but she also served a purposed and brought families closer together.
She is survived by many loved ones including her aunt and uncle Ricardo (Linda) Rosas (Auburndale, FL), mother Diane Gomez (Auburndale, FL), son Antonio Wilson (Winter Haven, FL), Grandmother Martha Henrietta Smith (Winter Haven, FL), two siblings Noel Cruz (Auburndale, FL) and Pepe Cruz (Bay City, TX) along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
