Daisy Goolsby of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Grace Healthcare.

She was born November 8, 1919 in Winter Haven, Florida to the late Wells and Lillie (Alford) Mercer.

She has been a resident of the area since 1982 coming from Miami, Florida. Daisy was a retired Nursing Assistant for Dade County Jackson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the American Legion Post 29 Ladies Auxiliary in Miami, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her husband Homer H. Goolsby, brothers David Mercer and Jimmy Mercer.

She is survived by her sister Louise Goolsby of Lake Wales, Florida.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Lake Wales Cemetery with Pastor Stephen Bolden officiating.
