Born May 1, 1943 to Robert and Renada (Rick) DuCharme in Austin, Minnesota. David graduated from Aquinas High School in 1961.

David enlisted in the US Air Force where he received extensive medical training, and served his country faithfully for 26 years prior to his retirement. Following a heroic tour of duty as an air evac medical in Vietnam, David met the love of his life Hazel Preston whom he married in Panama City, Fla. on October 12, 1969. David and Hazel raised three children – David DuCharme ( Laura), Julie Nagel (Ed), and Charlene DuCharme.

After Hazel’s untimely death on June 12, 2000, David met Marcia Brower, with whom he spent his remaining years.

David was an excellent cook, and specialized in grilling. He loved to cruise, play cards, fish, and entertain family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his wife Hazel, his parents, his older brother Robert, Jr. (Bud), and his you get sister Janet. He is survived by his brother Rick DuCharme, his three children David, Julie, and Charlene, and eight grandchildren: Cheyanne and Emma Kate; Katie ( Michael)Murphy, Nicholas, Jai, Jace, Arianna and Alani Nagel and many other family, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Thursday, May 20th at 11:30 a.m.
