Elmer Merle Weimer, 82

Elmer Weimer of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at his daughter’s residence.

He was born November 30, 1935 in Connersville, Pennsylvania to the late Hobe and Bertha (Shaner) Weimer and he has been a resident of the area since 2012 moving here from Pennsylvania. He was a Guard Rail Installer and later in life he was a farmer. He attended Cross Ridge Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Weimer in 2012 and son, Randy Weimer in 2011.

He is survived by his daughter Christine Adkinson of Lake Wales, FL, sons Elmer Weimer, Jr. of Jeannette, PA, David Weimer (Angela) of Fort Myers, FL, Toby Weimer of Scottsdale, PA, Joseph Weimer of Jeannette, PA, Steven Weimer of PA, sisters Evelyn Weimer Morgan of Connersville, PA, Betty Weimer of Donegal, PA, Minnie Shawley of Houston, TX, brothers Bob Clark and John Malone both of Dunbar, PA, and 21 grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 until service time at 3:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Memorial Gardens.
