He was born September 22, 1948 in Cuba and he has been a resident of this area since 2000 moving here from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

He was a Supervisor for Florida Power & Lights for over 40 years. He attended the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Jorge was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Alex Ferro

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Madlyn Howell Ferro; brother, Manny Ferro of Miami.
