She was born November 20, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John Lee and Kathryn Rita (Scott) Waters and she has been a resident of this area since 1988 moving here from Louisville, Kentucky. She was a retired Receptionist for Chalet Suzanne and of the Christian Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary R. Sands

Survivors include her sons, Scott Huff (Dana) of Cape Coral, FL, John Lee Huff of Lake Wales; 3 grandchildren, Joel Huff, Christian Huff and Cole Huff

Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the family residence 1555 Poe Road, Lake Wales, Florida 33898.
