He was preceded in death by both of his parents and a sister, Patsy.

He is survived by: his wife of 49 years, Katherine “Kit” Pauly; his children, son, JJ (Krissy), daughter, Kami, and son, Steven; seven grandchildren, Jacar, Ely, Andrew (Hailey), Kaley, Emily, Hannah, Hayden and Jaxson; and three greatgrandchildren, Marcus, Jayson & Elijah; two sisters, Ruth Ann and Gloria; 2 brothers, Herbie & Rick; and a host of nieces and nephews.

At Joes request, there will be no services at this time. Final resting place will be Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
