JOYCE’S OBITUARY
Joyce F. O’Bryon, 79

Joyce Florene O’Bryon of Winter Haven, Florida and longtime resident of Athens, New York passed away Monday, September 21, 2020. Mrs. O’Bryon entered heavens gates after fighting Alzheimer’s disease for eight long years.

She was born on May 10, 1941 in Catskill, New York to the late Wesley and Ruth Brandow; she moved from Athens, New York to Winter Haven, Florida in December 2018. Joyce retired from Green County Memorial Hospital, where she served as a dietary worker and was a lifetime member of the Athens Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ronald E. O’Bryon Sr. She has two daughters Lisa Donahue of Coden, Alabama, and Darlene Gottlieb and spouse John of Earlton New York; and a son Ronald E. O’Bryon Jr. and spouse Marisol of Winter Haven, Florida; sister Gloria Brandow of Rensselear, New York; six grandchildren Shane and Hannah Soncini, Kyle and Tanner Casamento, Roger Flouton, and Ashley O’Bryon. Along with six great grandchildren, Rhory, Callie, Keean, Colton, Kaydin, and Kyler.

Mrs. Joyce F. O’Bryon’s, remains will be brought back to her hometown of Athens, New York and laid to rest at the Athens Cemetery at a later date. There are no services currently scheduled at this time.
