Jack Lee Worth of Lake Wales passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at his residence.
He was born March 17, 1930 and came to the area as a child. He was a retired sheet metal mechanic, former member of the Golfview Baptist Church and veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was an avid radio-controlled airplane pilot and enjoyed fishing.
Lee was proceeded in death by his wife, Imogene Worth; and four children. Survivors include his son, Eugene Worth and his wife, Betty of Lake Wales; two granddaughters, Holly and Theresa; five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Graveside service will be held following the cremation 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 14, 2017 at the Lake Wales Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cornerstone Hospice (2590 Havendale Blvd., N.W., Winter Haven, FL 33881).
