Nona was born in Winter Haven, Florida to Clifford and Mellie Wimberly. She was a member of Christian Heritage Baptist Church. She enjoyed coloring, dogs, and dolls. She also enjoyed Roses and Carnations. She helped raise over 30 nieces and nephews.

Nona is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Mellie Wimberly, brothers; Leonard Wimberly, Clifford Wimberly, Calvin Wimberly and Ray Wimberly. She is survived by brothers; James (Charlotte) Wimberly of Auburndale, David Wimberly of Winter Haven, sisters; Lucille Greene of Orlando, Mary Ward of Winter Haven, and Melanie Harrell of Eagle Lake; a host of nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs; Little Bit, Jack, Bob, and Blacky.

She was loved by many and missed dearly.

A visitation for Nona will be Monday February 15, 2021 at 10:00 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven, Florida followed by a funeral service at 11:00. Interment immediately following at Auburndale Memorial Park Cemetery.
