Dolly Pearl Davis, 83, of Polk City, FL died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Polk City.

Born June 21, 1934 in Odum, GA she moved to Florida as a child and moved to Polk City in 1961. She was a homemaker raising eight children and went on to retire from the U.S. Postal Service as a Rural Route Carrier. She was a member of the Polk City Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by: her first husband, Clifford Morris; her second husband, Earl Davis; a daughter, Alice Taylor; and a son, Gerald Davis; four brothers; and four sisters.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Louise Davis of Missoula, Montana, Patricia Williams of Polk City; Thomas Davis of Ft. Myers, FL, Greg Morris of Auburndale, Butch Davis of Auburndale, and Gene Morris of Auburndale; a sister, Violet Saunders of Okeechobee, FL; fifteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am till 10:00am., Sunday, January 7, 2017 and Funeral Services will follow at 10:00am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
