Robert “Bob” Carman
March 14, 1949 – January 30, 2018
Bob was born on March 14, 1949 in Manhattan, New York to Edward and Edna Stratton Carman. He moved to Davenport five years ago from Georgia, worked for 35 years as a manager for AT&T and was a volunteer for the Fire Department in Lindenhurst, New York in the 1980’s.
Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved golf, traveling and skiing.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Carman; son, Michael Carman of Burlington, NJ; daughter, Katherine Carman of Davenport, FL; and his 12 year old granddaughter, Ridgeley Carman of Burlington, NJ.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida. Final Resting Place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
