WOODROW  “BUDDY”  SHARPE,  89

Woodrow “Buddy” Sharpe of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at his residence.

He was born October 6, 1931 in Soperton, GA to the late Willie and Della Sharpe; he came to the area in 1951. He was retired from Latt Maxcy and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church. He enjoyed being a gunsmith, watching Nascar and working in his vegetable garden.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Velmer B. Sharpe; children, Steve Sharpe (Gaye) of Lake Wales, Judy Brannen (Ronald) of Lake Wales, Pamela Letchworth (Michael) of Lakeland and Robert Sharpe of Lake Wales; brother, Romie Sharpe of Lake Wales; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
