THE LIFE, LEGACY, and LOVE of GEORGES HENRI DENIS

At the age of 21, after graduating from the teacher college in Port Au Prince, Haiti, Georges decided to immigrate to the US.  While living in the Bronx, NY, he met the first love of his life, Marsha.  They were married and soon after blessed with Georges’ son Alex.  Three years later, after that relationship ended, Georges moved to Chicago, IL, and was introduced to the world of computers.  He enrolled in college and earned an MBA in Computer Science, while working nights to help his father, brother, and sisters back in Haiti. While attending a house party with his best friend Felix, Georges was struck by Cupid’s arrow again.  That was when met his second love Madeline.  While they started out as friends, she was even supposed to introduce him to one of her friends, but their attraction for each other won the day. A year later they were married, moved to Florida, and soon after Georges’ second child Christine was born. Full of energy and running around all day, Christine was TiKTok before TikTok. Several years later, after that relationship ended, when Georges was working at Winter Haven Hospital as an IT Specialist he was introduced to the world of people helping people to achieve their goals, aka MLM, or network marketing.  Georges soon met the last, but certainly not least love of his life Yvonne.  He loved everything about her as she was a hard worker as a nurse and also as a business partner.  They started a business and life together that lasted for 26 years.  They loved to travel and go to the beach together; he loved to cook for her; and they most importantly made their dreams come true together. Yvonne was his true partner, always there to tell him the raw truth.

MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY

Georges was the true head of the family.  No matter what role he played, as a father, brother, uncle, or cousin, you would never leave his presence without feeling better about your day.  He loved to teach, motivate, and empower everyone.  He was never ashamed of his mistakes, as he would often say we are all humans who make mistakes.  He will truly be missed by so many, but never forgotten.  Showing compassion to one another, forgiving one another, and helping all, with no expectations in return will be his legacy.  A true role model, but one of a kind.

The family of Georges Henri Denis is most appreciative for all the prayers and support from all of our family, friends, and guests.  Thank you for your words of encouragement and extraordinary display of love during this difficult time.  Please keep continuing to remember us in your prayers as we will do the same for all of you.
