Melva loved traveling with her husband. She enjoyed being adventurous, going to church. She enjoyed being social and was very outgoing, but most of all she enjoyed being around her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Susie, sister; Faye Brauchler and Melita Lovett. Melva is survived by her husband of 57 years Joe, Children; Rob (Kacy) Sandi (Willie) and Jeff (Amy), grandchildren; Matt (Jenny) Hagan, Rachel Roberts and Ryan Roberts, greatgrandchildren; Lexi and Abby.

Visitation services will be held Thursday April 15, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven and Funeral Services will be Friday April 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven with interment following afterwards at Auburndale Memorial Park in Auburndale, FL.
